We are building the most careful way to create everyday legal documents in the US.

How we work

Accuracy over speed
A wrong clause costs someone real money. We would rather ship a document a week later than ship it with a guess in it.
Plain words
We write for the person signing the document, not for other lawyers. That applies to our code, docs and emails too.
Respect for users’ data
People tell us about their homes, families and businesses. We collect what we need and nothing more.
Small team, real ownership
Everyone owns outcomes end to end, from the first question in a questionnaire to the last page of the PDF.

Where we expect to grow

Legal content
Researching state rules, drafting templates and questionnaires, and keeping them current.
Engineering
Building the questionnaire engine, document generation and the site itself.
Design and research
Making complex choices feel simple, and testing that with the people who use them.
Customer support
Helping people find the right document and get unstuck, without giving legal advice.
